-1 tsp salt
-1 tsp pepper
-1 tsp Old Bay
-1/2 cup 0% Plain Greek yogurt
-1/2 cup light mayo
-4 x 5oz cans Chunk White Albacore Tuna in Water
-1/2-3/4 red onion
-1 1/2 stalks of celery
-1 tsp salt
-1 tsp pepper
-1 tsp Old Bay
-1/2 cup 0% Plain Greek yogurt
-1/2 cup light mayo
I love tuna salad but I hate how heavy it always made me feel after. With this recipe I take out half the mayo and substitute it with Greek yogurt and add a little Old Bay, which I think lightens it up too. First, chop up the red onion into a small dice and throw it in ice water. The water helps take some of the bite off the onion without losing the flavor. Add the tuna to the bowl and break up the large chunks. Cut the celery stalks into 3 thin slices and then a dice the size of the onion. Mix the tuna, onion, celery, salt, pepper, and Old Bay together. Add the Greek yogurt and the mayo and mix until combined.
